i think long distance relationship works,but it takes two to make it work ,hence communication is definatly the best tool available since u cant physically see each other. so partners shld remain committed and consistant,
 in keepin dat relation running.im sure distance cant be a very big barrier,nor can it keep u away from the love of your life.
