Is it true what ppl say about long distance relationships not working?

people tend fi stray away from getting into da type a relationship ya.it definately tek more commitment,trust,work and trust.women tend fi can do dat more readily than men,but in the end it just all depends on the people whether them can handle it .

well I think it all depends on the time the couple are apart aswell and how much they can handle TOGETHER,I dont beleive than women can hadle anything more than men,it takes both parties to make it work ,but just one to breakup,yes it takes all that you have said,commitment and trust, but both must be involved,yes were more emotional guess thats what your saying but more often than not these relationships tend not to work out, because the males arent patient enough ,because we arent there to service their every need.

It can work still ,but the 2 ppl dem affi jus well dedicated.Trust ,is the most important part still,especially inna long Distance relationship.But mi always sey when yu finding the right person who you will do anything for, anything possible.

yes long distance can work.......if you want something to work all you have to do is to make sure that is what you want. you tend to communicate more.in relationships there is more to a person than sex.....i think that you understand the person more learn more about each other.the only thing that separates you is not being able to be with each other every day.....but i can honestly say that it worked in my favor and i love it.......

NOOOOOO It cannot work fo most people,if you get it to work then it is wonderful (as far as I hear) because thinking about it ,you really would get a chance to know about the person,intimately for awhile ,without the sex.nuff people inna relationships and dem an dem woman or man cannot have a decent conversation,if a nuh gossip or chatting people bidniz.so based on experience that odas have ,I wouldnt recommend it ,cus having a local relationship has so much challenges in itself that tekking on a long distance one kinda suicidal .

you all have good points,it's a very debatable subject I havent got any experience in it but if couples want it work.

I must add by saying that it takes two to have a relationship and it takes two to have the utmost trust, commitment, communication and dedication to make a long distance relationship work and work well! How I see it is that, if both parties love each other and want it to work more than life itself, then there should be nothing stopping it from working!

yow relationships just depends on the ppl involved, look at it location and distance cannot determine that, if it could. How could two ppl live in the same house and yet still their relationship didnt work? But yes it does take a more mature and committed couple to withstand long distance relationships. but quite frankly maturity and commitment is needed for any relationship to work.
