Serena was fined £50,000 and given a suspended ban from Flushing Meadows over the next three years for the threats she directed at a line judge who foot-faulted her during her semi-final against Kim Clijsters.
While an immediate suspension was never likely to materialise, the fine, which could double if Williams commits another major misdemeanour at a grand slam event, was lower than had been widely expected.
Seeing the funny side: Serena and her friend share a laugh after her slip-up
Williams earnings from the singles and doubles events at the tournament were £334,307, so the penalty was covered by what she made from that fortnight alone.
The possible £106,658 that she could forfeit is, in effect, a match fee fine, as that is the difference between the money paid to singles quarter-finalists and beaten semi-finalists.
Williams was within two points of losing when she went berserk at the female line judge and threatened, among a blitz of colourful language, to ram the ball down her throat.
Outburst: Serena Williams (right) confronts the line judge at the US Open
While the threat of a future suspension sounds severe, she would need to commit another major offence at a grand slam for it to kick in. Were she to receive a code violation at another grand slam for smashing her racket, for example, that alone would not trigger the ban.
Australian Lleyton Hewitt was fined £60,970 (reduced to £12,199 on appeal) in 2002 by the ATP Tour for refusing to fulfil media commitments.
The previous biggest punishment meted out was to the American Jeff Tarango, who walked off the court at Wimbledon and accused officials of being corrupt. He was barred from Wimbledon the following year and fined £29,274 for his outburst.
The woman, who pleaded guilty to negligence in the Linstead Resident Magistrate's Court last week, will know her fate on March 22, when she returns for sentencing.
Allegations outlined in court are that in early January, the woman went on an errand and left an eight-year-old and a two-year-old to supervise the infant.
During her absence, the eight-year-old child is said to have removed a pot of soup from the stove and placed it on the floor.
The baby is reported to have fallen into the pot of soup and suffered burns to his hands, head and back. She was hospitalised after the incident.
Following an investigation by the Riversdale police, the mother was taken into custody and charged.
When she appeared before Resident Magistrate Simone Maddix last week, she was not represented by a lawyer.
The court has placed the other two children in the care of their grandmother.

Berlin, Germany - Defending World champion Tyson Gay will not compete in the 200m at the 12th IAAF World Championships in Athletics and instead will focus on preparing for a possible appearance in Team USA's 4x100m relay.
Competing all season with an injured groin, Gay ran an American record 9.71 seconds in Sunday night's final of the men's 100 meters to win the silver medal. The effort took enough of a toll on Gay that he decided resting would better serve the interests of Team USA and himself.
"Rather than risk further injury, I've decided that I will not compete in tomorrow's first round of the 200m," Gay said Monday night. "I would like to be a part of Team USA's 4x100m and believe this decision will give me the best chance to be ready for the relay. I want to help our relay as best I can."
Team USA will determine its first-round relay lineup after the men's 200m final on August 20. The first round of the relay is on Friday, August 21, with the final on Saturday, August 22.
Mavado and Wyclef's 'Hold On' will officially be released on iTunes today and all proceeds will go towards the Haitian relief.
The video for the song has been getting airplay on MTV, VH1 and BET. The version of the song is not the original which was done in September. Instead, Wyclef changed some of his lines after the devastating 7.0 earthquake struck Haiti three weeks ago. In a previous interview with The STAR,Mavado said: "We did the song not really for the Haiti thing, we did it for someone that lost a friend and then this happen with Haiti. Mi feel even more greater inna myself fi know seh dem a use di song fi deal wid Haiti."
Yesterday, Mavado, who is on tour in Canada, said he was happy about his and Wyclef's decision to donate the funds to charity. He said: "Right now, we're supporting Clef in everything he's doing in trying to raise money for Haiti. This is the least we can do."
According to Mavado's manager, Julian Jones-Griffith, he expects the song to do well sales-wise on iTunes. He said: "The song is getting a lot of attention. People like the song originally, so with the addition of the proceeds going to charity, we expect it to get a lot of support."
According to I-Octane it was a humbling experience for him and one that has seen him even more motivated to make an even greater impact on the international scene.
"I'm not even sure if they understand some of the words I was chanting on stage, but to see the way they embraced me, well that's a feeling I cannot put into words," he said.
From Spain, I-Octane will be moving on to Portugal, Sweden, Germany, Czech Republic, Italy, Switzerland, Holland, Belgium and England.
On the local scene I-Octane is enjoying success with his latest single Lose A Friend which is now perched in the #2 position on the Hype TV Top 20 Singles Chart.

Asteroid collisions are energetic, with an average impact speed of more than 11,000 miles per hour, or five times faster than a rifle bullet. The comet-like object imaged by Hubble, called P/2010 A2, was first discovered by the Lincoln Near-Earth Asteroid Research, or LINEAR, program sky survey on Jan. 6. New Hubble images taken on Jan. 25 and 29 show a complex X-pattern of filamentary structures near the nucleus.
"This is quite different from the smooth dust envelopes of normal comets," said principal investigator David Jewitt of the University of California at Los Angeles. "The filaments are made of dust and gravel, presumably recently thrown out of the nucleus. Some are swept back by radiation pressure from sunlight to create straight dust streaks. Embedded in the filaments are co-moving blobs of dust that likely originated from tiny unseen parent bodies."
Hubble shows the main nucleus of P/2010 A2 lies outside its own halo of dust. This has never been seen before in a comet-like object. The nucleus is estimated to be 460 feet in diameter.
Normal comets fall into the inner regions of the solar system from icy reservoirs in the Kuiper Belt and Oort Cloud. As a comet nears the sun and warms up, ice near the surface vaporizes and ejects material from the solid comet nucleus via jets. But P/2010 A2 may have a different origin. It orbits in the warm, inner regions of the asteroid belt where its nearest neighbors are dry rocky bodies lacking volatile materials.
This leaves open the possibility that the complex debris tail is the result of an impact between two bodies, rather than ice simply melting from a parent body.
"If this interpretation is correct, two small and previously unknown asteroids recently collided, creating a shower of debris that is being swept back into a tail from the collision site by the pressure of sunlight," Jewitt said.
The main nucleus of P/2010 A2 would be the surviving remnant of this so-called hypervelocity collision.
"The filamentary appearance of P/2010 A2 is different from anything seen in Hubble images of normal comets, consistent with the action of a different process," Jewitt said. An impact origin also would be consistent with the absence of gas in spectra recorded using ground-based telescopes.
The asteroid belt contains abundant evidence of ancient collisions that have shattered precursor bodies into fragments. The orbit of P/2010 A2 is consistent with membership in the Flora asteroid family, produced by collisional shattering more than 100 million years ago. One fragment of that ancient smashup may have struck Earth 65 million years ago, triggering a mass extinction that wiped out the dinosaurs. But, until now, no such asteroid-asteroid collision has been caught "in the act."
At the time of the Hubble observations, the object was approximately 180 million miles from the sun and 90 million miles from Earth. The Hubble images were recorded with the new Wide Field Camera 3 (WFC3).

Well the week started off on a violent note. Hmmm. Nothing new here I suppose since we are talking about Jamaica. This time though it involved former Empire Princess, Gaza Kim who as rebranded herself as Kym. Apparently, she received a firm whacking from men allegedly affiliated with the Empire who branded her as an informer. Many rumours abounded:
a. She allegedly informed Shorty [Kartel's apparent number 1] of Kartel's infidelity and was physically punished by Empire members.
b. She allegedly informed Shorty of the infidelity and was beaten by Empire ardents.
c. She allegedly informed Shorty of the cheating and men instructed by Kartel were ordered to mete out punishment.
d. She allegedly informed Shorty of a specific woman The Teacha was sleeping with and he along with other Empire followers beat her clean T.
Whatever the truth or reason, the reality is that the beaten took place. Only 17 years of age the young lady decided to leave the camp, but take note that that it is only a physical departure. Recent reports have informed that she signed away her publishing rights for all previously recorded material whilst in the Empire and is still contracted to Kartel's record label for another six (6) years. Interesting!! I find this rather interesting, Prince anyone, or should I say ARTISTE. Remember when he felt trapped and changed his name from Prince to just The Artiste. Maybe Kym is hoping that by changing her name from Gaza Kim to Kym will make her a new artiste. Perhaps legally it is a way out, but let us not fool ourselves we know badmanism is rife in our dancehall culture. That aside what is even more frightening is that many older artistes would cuss about how producers would take all their rights so now if they don't perform or do dubs they cannot get any money from composition royalties. Many articles and discussions have been written and had about the rights of the musicians, writers, and artistes yet it seems as though many are ignorant or just too hungry to get in the entertainment circle that they just sign and sign to anything just to get a piece of the spotlight. Knowledge is power, but it can be a destructive weapon by those who possess it. It is indeed ironic that Kartel besides singing about violence and sex, spits rhymes about injustices and inequality yet it seems many an injustice takes place in the Big Yard.
Hopefully, contained therein the contract is a clause which would allow an artiste to exit if physical breach to his or her person or mental state occurs. Even if there is no such clause it is obvious that the traumatized young lady has no express desire to remain a part of The Empire' so why bind her hands?
A request for a lobby by on air and in the dance deejays has been suggested to release Gaza Kim for her contract, but even if that were to happen, what about cyan ketch kwaki ketch him shut' [if you can't directly get to your target you attack their other points of weakness] and we know certain artistes vest their minds deeply on the 48 Laws of Power.
It would be deeply regrettable if anyone from the Alliance or aligned to the Alliance would seek to make mockery of the Gaza Kim beating in song or rhyme. We all know what would occur. Gully vs Gaza year 2 and another year of corrosion to Jamaican music. This would only help to eradicate the hard work put in by older artistes and help to line the pockets of a few who take advantage of the highly illiterate Jamaican population both in Jamaica and in the diaspora and persons who like to listen to Top 10 Jamaican music so they can feel IRIE' or be in the loop.
It's a shame and utter disgrace this incident and even though Kym might Amen get rid ah di bwoy', it will haunt her in years to come and even women who enjoy dancehall. We really need to take a stand. In life there is Sun and Moon, Day and Night, Dry and Wet and the combination of them makes for balance in life. Chauvinistic behavior in dominance really does not help in forward movement.
I hope this is not a sick joke by the Empire for publicity or maybe many pundits were right that the Empire will soon fall apart. You can trick a person once but you can't keep tricking them over and over with techniques that follow a familial path.

Yendi Phillipps, host of the Digicel Rising Stars competition was definitely pleased about something during Saturday's results show. - Nathaniel Stewart
Miss Jamaica World 2007 Yendi Phillipps yesterday officially announced her departure as host of the Digicel Rising Stars competition.
The beauty-queen-turned-TV host and now model, sent news of her retirement via her fan page on the popular social networking site Facebook. On her Facebook page, she posted the following message: "I've made a decision that I'd like to share. Phillipps recently decided to follow her dreams of a modelling career working with the Base Model Agency in Cape Town, South Africa. She left Jamaica in October of last year for a six-month tenure at the agency.
Digicel Rising Stars creator Mike Hogan could not be reached up to press time. The series producer, Sharon Schroeter, confirmed that she had heard of Phillipps' retirement but was reluctant to give more information at the time. THE WEEKEND STAR addressed rumours of Phillipps' departure, but Hogan at the time was unwilling to confirm saying that no official decision had been made.
survey
According to Hogan, a marketing survey was being undertaken and the results from that would be available in the next two weeks before official decisions could be made. The rumours also claimed that chill room host Kiki would now be taking on the new role, which is unconfirmed.
On Phillipps' Facebook page, the response to her leaving was mostly positive, with persons congratulating the starlet on following her dreams. One fan wrote, "Happy to hear that doors are opening for you. At the same time, you have made it possible for a door to be opened to someone else! Continue to count your blessings!" A Corporate Area man is today joining the views of several persons worldwide who have been questioning whether or not the earth shattering quake that ravaged sections of Haiti on January 12 was a work of mother nature or the result of men conducting scientific experiments.
From as early as the very day of the earthquake, several videos were posted on popular video-sharing website YouTube.com of persons purporting that a radio technology which can trigger changes in the atmosphere was responsible for the deathly quake which left hundreds of thousands dead. A clip of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez making the same claim was also posted on that site.
technology
Similar to the countless videos and articles posted online, the Jamaican man said that the technology is known as High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) and is operated by the United States Navy and Air Force.
"When the technology first developed it was used for the exploration of oil in Alaska, then it was sold to the military because the military saw potential in it as a weapon," the local man, opting only to be referred to as Simsaid. "HAARP uses frequency to heat up the ionosphere (the uppermost part of the atmosphere) and can cause disaster of any magnitude, whether it be a hurricane or earthquake - unfortunately Haiti became the victim. "
As to why it happened in Haiti, the local man said, the country, the poorest in the Western Hemisphere, was merely being used as a lab rat for the experiment, a test drill of HAARP.
On the matter of the other quakes that subsequently hit Venezuela and the Cayman Islands afterwards, he says those were smaller scale tests, which also served to 'cover up' the blow done to Haiti under the guise of mother nature venting.
Sim said that his main goal in highlighting the discovery, which many may call a conspiracy theory, is making the public aware of the technology that is out there and is being manipulated by the powers that be. "We may find ourselves falling victim just as Haiti, in the longer run," he said.
Approximately 4:53 p.m. on Tuesday, January 12, a powerful 7.0 magnitude earthquake ripped through the heart of Haiti causing mind-boggling devastation and loss of lives.
Other theories for the earthquake have been mentioned, including a claim by popular American televangelist Pat Robinson, that the quake was as a result of a pact that Haiti had made with the devil centuries ago while they fought for independence from the French. Robinson said that the agreement was that if Haiti overthrew the French rulers and gained freedom then the land would be the devil's for the keeping. The first wave of the expected refugees from the neighbouring country of Haiti, which was recently dismantled by a 7.0 magnitude earthquake, arrived yesterday in Jamaica and have already sent police in St Mary on a goose chase.
According to information reaching THE WEEKEND STAR, two of three Haitian refugees, who arrived along the Boscobel coastline in that parish, sometime after 7 a.m., outran lawmen into nearby bushes and are currently being sought. The third man has been taken into custody.
Police reports are that five men reportedly boarded a vessel on Monday from Port-au-Prince, Haiti before the unit capsized off the coast of Boscobel. Two of the men are said to have drowned during this misfortune.
The police said that the other three managed to swim ashore, where two escaped into nearby bushes, while the other was captured.
The lawmen are appealing to residents to be on the lookout for the two men, who might be armed and dangerous. They are urging them to report any strange person or suspicious activity they may see.
There are speculations that the two refugees may belong to the group of some 4000 hardened criminals, who escaped from prison in Haiti in the aftermath of the devastating quake.
At 4:53 p.m. on January 12, the powerful earthquake ripped through Haiti causing extensive damage, deaths and casualty in and around the capital of Port-au-Prince.For $400,000, anyone can easily bypass three hard years of tertiary education and buy a university degree.
A sterling example of the fraud is the recent case where the police arrested two men from Greater Portmore, St Catherine for the practice.
Allegations outlined in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Friday said one of the accused men, Antonia Mullings, was "employed to a prominent tertiary institution in the Corporate Area" when "he forged university certificates and sold them for $400,000."
sting operation
The allegations also outlined that police were made aware of the situation and how one such fake certificate was to be handed over to the co-accused, businessman, Corey Lawrence, 30. Both parties were reported arrested as Lawrence collected the forged document.
Mulling's lawyer pointed out that his client did not collect $400,000, as the clerk of the court said. Instead, he said that the money was merely an offer made to his client. The attorney said he wanted to make it clear that it had never been the situation where the police set up a sting operation and then arrested his client during that procedure, but that his client duly cooperated with the lawmen, leading to the other arrest.
He make a bail application saying Mullings was "a bright student" who has been in custody since January 22.
Resident Magistrate Georgianna Fraser offered each accused $500,000 bail with surety. She also ordered that their travel documents be seized and they are to report to the Greater Portmore police ahead of the February 11 return date.
Lacks was a poor tobacco farmer in Southern America, who worked the same land as her slave ancestors, yet her cells -- cut from her cervix just months before she died -- became one of the most important tools in medicine.
"The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks," the new book of author Rebecca Skloot, examines the extraordinary -- and controversial -- scientific contribution made by the young black woman from Baltimore County's Turners Station community more than a half-century ago.
While Lacks was being treated for cancer at Johns Hopkins, a researcher was able to keep some of her cells alive outside her body -- a remarkable breakthrough for medical research. The tumor left her five children motherless and change the future of medicine.
The author notes that the "HeLa cells," spreading around the world, were vital for developing the polio vaccine; uncovered secrets of cancer, viruses, and the effects of the atom bomb; helped lead to important advances like in vitro fertilization, chemotherapy, cloning, and gene mapping; and have been bought and sold by the billions.
Yet Henrietta Lacks remains virtually unknown, buried in an unmarked grave. She's simply called HeLa, the code name given to her. Lacks' role was not acknowledged for years. And though her cells launched a multimillion-dollar selling human biological materials, her family reaped no financial gain, leaving them understandably bitter.
This is what he said:
Man if you don't stop posting those lies about Masonry. I had to send you my Masonic Diploma so that you know I can speak on it. And yes we do get Diplomas and if you don't have that certificate # and that golden seal then unfortunately its a fraud. With that being said, let me address a few things that was in that video referencing all types of crazy stuff. Ok, the Knights Templar female reference. That's crazy! History will tell you that there were no female templars! And in order to be a Knights Templar, you must have become a Master Mason first and woman are not Masons and Templars had red crosses on their armor. The Black cube...lol SMH there is no black cube. What he may be trying to reference is the 47th Problem of Euglid. It was invented by a great Freemason by the name of Phythagoras and it teaches us as Masons to be general lovers of the Arts and Sciences. Also, the *lo** drinking, lmao I must have missed that part when I became a Mason...Man we don't drink *lo**. The handshakes, not one of them was correct even if a person knew the "secret handshake" a true Mason will know if its true or not. That's my Masonic lecture for the Illseed community b/c this Illuminatti crap and relating it to Freemasons is just crazy. Two totally different ideals and structure.

John Terry Scandal! England Soccer Captain John Terry is facing some tragic problems after publicly disgraced for cheating on his wife. John Terry has still affair with French underwear model Vanessa Perroncel his wifes best friend and the partner of fellow Englanddefender Wayne Bridge secret.
29 years old Terry now facing huge backlash from players or may be he will lost his chances to play for Englandteam in upcoming South Africa Worldcup 2010.
Terry was confirmed as the England captain in August, and will captain England in qualifying for the 2010 World Cup. During his first match after being reinstated as the permanent England captain he was given a torrid time by Milan Baros and was turned far too easily when Baros scored the first goal for the Czech Republic.
In January 2010, a super-injunction was imposed by a High Court judge preventing the media reporting that Terry had had an affair with Vanessa Perroncel, the former girlfriend of his England team-mate Wayne Bridge. The injunction was lifted a week later.
England captain John Terrys career was thrown into further doubt today after it was revealed he got his team-mates girlfriend pregnant.
The Mail on Sunday has learned that French model Vanessa Perroncel, former partner of fellow England defender Wayne Bridge, had an abortion within months of the affair starting.
The pregnancy and termination are thought to have been the consequences referred to by the High Court judge who threw out the £170,000-a-week footballers bid to seek a draconian gagging order to keep his affair secret.
Today, the far-reaching implications of Terrys extraordinary legal action were becoming clear.
There is now a strong belief among fans that Terry may have caused irreparable damage to Englands chances of success at the World Cup in South Africa in June.
Although he is seen as a vital member of the squad, his behaviour has turned him into a pariah and has deeply unsettled his team-mates.
There is anger, too, that his decision to use a super-injunction to try to prevent scrutiny of his actions has only served to exacerbate an already painful situation.
Rejecting Terrys claim for the right to have a private and family life, the judge said he believed it was more likely Terry was trying to protect his reputation and business interests.
In his written judgment, Mr Justice Tugendhat referred to details of such affair and/or relationship, including the consequences thereof.
Although he as not explicit by what was meant by the consequences, the internet was yesterday buzzing with reports that it referred to Miss Perroncels abortion. When asked about it, Miss Perroncels publicity agent Max Clifford said: No comment.
Friends said last night the termination was arranged by Terry and took place at a private clinic under clandestine circumstances. Miss Perroncel arrived and left the clinic via a back entrance.
Today it was claimed Terry's wife Toni is planning to divorce him after his infidelity was exposed.
According to the Sunday Mirror, she told friends: 'He's humiliated me for 10 years. But no more. This time I'm going to divorce him.'
A friend told the paper:'She's sobbing and raging. I have never seen Toni like this. She's in pieces.'
It was also claimed today that Terry's wife had a furious row with Miss Perroncel when she phoned her last week to confront her over the affair.
A source told the News of the World: 'It was a real shouting match between the two of them. They were both ranting and swearing down the phone. But Vanessa just denied there was an affair.'
Another source told the Sunday Mirror that Toni told Vanessa: 'Call yourself a friend? What sort of friend sleeps with their mate's husband?'

VYBZ KARTEL CONDEMNS ALLEGED ATTACK ON GAZA KIM
Known for the single Wine on the Gal Farm rhythm produced by Notnice, one of the newest members of the Portmore Empire, Popcaan has clearly stated his intentions in his new single, New Year.
Popcaan is also featured on the recently released Bus Park rhythm along with Vybz Kartel and other members of the Portmore Empire, with a track called Tongue Ring, which is creating quite a stir in and around dancehall circles. On Russian's Bomb Drop rhythm, he also has a single called Fake Friends.
quality music
With a compilation mix CD currently being produced, set to be released shortly, this year promises to be a great one for 'Papi', as he's affectionately called, as he continues to produce quality music, with a fresh new twist. Already garnering interest with songs like Nuh Ordinary Girl on the England Town rhythm, and Hustle Food on the Russian-produced Nuh Fear rhythm, Popcaan is slowly but surely making his presence felt.According to reports in Tuesday's STAR, Gaza Kim was at Big Yard when she and a group of men got into a verbal altercation. THE STAR source claimed that Vybz Kartel arrived on the scene and the men were instructed to beat her. A statement from Kartel, however, denied his involvement in the incident and condemned violence against females and children. A statement from Gaza Kim confirmed that she had been assaulted over the weekend and sought medical attention, details as to what happened, however, were omitted. According to the release, Gaza Kim says she will be taking legal action against her attackers.
Gaza Indu, known for songs such as Virginity alongside Vybz Kartel, was one of the first to call. Indu made it clear that she has never been beaten, nor was she present at the time that Gaza Kim was beaten. Indu said that she was calling all media contacts so as to clear her name. One of the latest females added to the Gaza crew, Sheba, also contacted THE STAR. Like Indu, Sheba stated that she was not present at 'Big Yard' over the weekend and did not appreciate that her name was being called up by the media and in rumours concerning any assault.
Two of the leading male artistes from the Empire, Blak Ryno and Jah Vinci also made contact with THE STARyesterday. Persistent rumours of being beaten have circulated around both figures. When asked about these rumours Ryno replied, "a lot of things have been said about di Gaza that aren't true. We cannot control what is being said in the media ... I am sure about myself and I have never witnessed any one being beaten on di Gaza."
As for singer Jah Vinci persons have questioned whether he is still a member of the Portmore Empire, after rumours have spread that he no longer hangs with the popular crew. Jah Vinci however, denied these rumours saying, "Gaza fi life."

A 13-year-old boy was taken to a 'mother woman' last week after he reportedly became demon-possessed and attacked his mother with a machete in Hope Bay, St Ann.
THE WEEKEND STAR learnt that the mother and her son were at home around 6 p.m. when the boy began acting strangely after arriving from school.
Residents say the youngster was seen wildly running in and out of his yard.
"Di whole a wi deh pon di road and see him a run up and down ... From inside a him yard to out a road weh we did deh," Sharlene, a resident said.
This is said to have aroused the residents' suspicions and they summoned the boy's mother asking her if something was wrong.
While talking to her, things reportedly took a dangerous turn. Residents claim the boy ran from inside the house with a machete in hand and yelled, "me a go kill har."
strange sounds
As the boy got nearer everybody scampered, even his mother.
He reportedly chased her, but she ran into a neighbour's house and locked herself in while he used the machete to bang on the door repeatedly, still shouting "me a go kill har."
As more residents gathered to witness the incident, he began uttering strange sounds and speaking in an unknown language.
"Me always hear bout dem ting deh but a di first me eva witness it live ... Di little yute start talk in a tongues and a mek some strange noise like him mad," Frederick, another resident claimed.
A group of residents are said to have braved the situation, accosted the teenager and at the request of his mother took him to the 'mother woman' who said he was possessed by a demon.
The woman is reported to have chanted bible verses before asking that they bring him into a room where he was left, while she continued her deliverance procedure.
The boy's mother, though reluctant to speak, said he is doing well since the incident and the teen has been sent to live with his father in Kingston.
Sources from the St Ann police said they have heard of the incident but did not have full details.
